People use Airbnb as a hotel-replacement, but it can be so much more.
Road Trips: Rerouted was one attempt at providing road trip ideas along classic routes - these routes just happen to have awesome Airbnb listings along the way.

Implementation
We needed the routes to connect attractions and nearby listings, so we couldn't rely on the Google Maps API to give us path coordinates. Getting the coordinates was tricky. We ended up using a combination of Google Earth, Excel, and some code editor magic to gather the data we needed.
We designed and built this project on a super-tight timeline. Even with some last-minute listing and route changes, we launched it on time. The client was happy with what we were able to create.
